It’s not everyday that you can catch the world’s biggest pop star at her prime.
For me, this experience is more than just attending a live concert. This is a cultural event.

Some observations:
Despite having a good voice, Lady Gaga often has pitch problems in her past live performances because it is hard to sing and perform at the same time. But I am glad to report that her vocal is perfectly on spot this time.
For all the skin showed so blatantly in her music videos, she appears fully-clad tonight, which makes me question if all the controversy in Indonesia is even necessary.
Speaking of which, Gaga openly spoke to the audience that her tour is banned in Indonesia, and encouraged us to spread the noble message to her Indonesia fans: “You were born this way, Indonesia.”
It’s a long concert and I would personally prefer that she cut down on the fillers and replace them with old gems like Speechless and Monster.
Highlight of the night: Hair. Seriously… yes, that mediocre 1980s-styled power ballad. But when all the excess production is stripped down to just Gaga and her piano… magic happens.
During Hair, she shared a touching personal story, and sent an inspirational message to encourage people to not be afraid being who they are. In her own words: “There’s a spotlight shining on everyone of you. If there is one person, just one person, blocking that light, I would say, ‘Excuse me, you are blocking my spotlight’”
Aside from Hair, all the power ballads stand out. Yoü And I, Electric Chapel, and encore performance The Edge Of Glory are definitely the best moments of the night.
Remember the meat dress? She wore that crazy outfit again!
Before performing her last encore song, she shouted: “Do you want to get married?!” and suddenly I was emotionally reminded of someone. Wish you were here, dear.
